Here’s what the 1Plus1 series looks like:
Week 1: Laying the foundations
In the first week, we lay the foundations for a true Torah perspective on marriage and the role of intimacy. We’ll address common misconceptions, clarify ideas like tznius and kedushah in marriage, the spiritual-physical connection and the mashpia/mekabel dynamic. You’ll come away with fresh perspectives, a new level of clarity, and a comfortable, secure foundation for the rest of the course.
Week 2-3: Intimacy as a bond
In weeks 2 and 3, you’ll gain a better, deeper understanding not only of yourself but of your spouse. We go into all facets of intimacy — biological, physical and emotional — and how they work together to create a lasting bond.
Put your marriage and your relationship with your spouse at the center of your universe — without losing yourself. We’ll talk about the three elements of intimacy, the role of beauty, and how the differences between men and women can go from a source of frustration to the source of a greater, deeper connection that stays strong and passionate even throughout life’s ups and downs.
Week 4-5: Intimacy isn’t only in the bedroom
Emotional intimacy is crucial to physical intimacy. We’ll go through the paradigms for nourishing emotional intimacy and how to understand and mitigate the effects of negative emotions and behaviors. You’ll learn what the keys to effective communication are for both husbands and wives, and the way forward to a deep, lasting, loving connection that puts your marriage and your relationship at the center -of your universe — without losing yourself..
Marriage takes work, but it should never be a chore.

Prepare your child for the relationship of a lifetime.
Halls, photographers, bands, flowers.

So much to do.

So many tefillos.
You pour so much time, energy, and heart into preparing for the chasunah.
Now it’s time to prepare for the marriage, too.
Once, parents prepared their children for Jewish married life.
Today, trained teachers fill that role.
As your shlichim, we teach your child all the relevant halachos they need to know, alongside Torah-true hashkafah and practical guidance — so they enter married life happy, comfortable, and confident.
Because it’s never too late — or too early — to create the marriage you were meant to have.
All our pre-marriage classes are one-on-one, in person, and given over with sensitivity, dignity, care, respect, and love.
Each halachah is taught, explained, and given deeper meaning through an understanding of the reasons behind it and an appreciation of how they correspond to the way Hashem created our physical and emotional makeup.
The mitzvah of mikvah is presented as a beautiful link in Klal Yisroel’s mesorah, with discussions about its deeper, spiritual meaning.
Marital intimacy is discussed gently and in detail, with an explanation of both the male and female perspectives. No question is dismissed, and any fears or misconceptions are addressed honestly, transparently, and within the framework of Torah hashkafah.
The post-chasunah classes expand the discussion with many of the topics from the 1Plus1 series. Your child leaves prepared for a life of marital intimacy and harmony, far beyond shanah rishonah.
